First Presbyterian Steeple

I am currently working on projects for First Presbyterian Church, New Bern, NC, for an "Art and Author's Night" to be held March 31, 2017, as part of our Bicentennial Celebration. These paintings, along with others, will be available for sale at that time, with a large portion being contributed to the church.

Host/Hostess Gifts

In April of 2016, we went on a road trip to visit friends and family. We took some special gifts with us. This  painting was inspired by a photo taken from a resort in Hawaii where my sister, Carole, and her husband, Jay, stayed to celebrate 55 years of marriage. I painted this as a special remembrance for them.

Kinderdijk Windmills 11X14 Acrylic on Canvas Panel

This painting of the windmills was inspired by our visit to Kinderdijk, Holland in October of 2015. We went with some good friends and totally enjoyed the experience. This gift was for Paula and Jim, who were with us on the trip to Holland.

Leopard Peeking

"Leopard Peeking" 12 X 16 acrylic on stretched canvas.  NFS
My BFF, Rosemary, has been begging me to paint my pets and for some reason I have been reluctant. I thought I would start with an animal I don't know as well: this leopard!

A memory from Spain

"Hope Springs Eternal" NFS
8 X 10 Acrylic on Canvas Board
This painting was inspired by a photo I took on Rota Naval Base, Spain. It was a glorious day and my granddaughter, Lexi and I took a walk behind their home on the base. I loved this double chain link fence, old and new, with the flower growing between the links.
