This painting was inspired by a photo I took on Rota Naval Base, Spain. It was a glorious day and my granddaughter, Lexi and I took a walk behind their home on the base. I loved this double chain link fence, old and new, with the flower growing between the links.

The Poppies are a loose interpretation, and the Lily is from a photo that my granddaughter loved, from a friend's garden.
